NEDS 2026 Pre-Conference Workshop
TBT-S level 1 trainingOn September 8th, we will offer a pre-conference workshop at the Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders.
The workshop is a TBT-S level 1 training, held by Professor Christina Wierenga from the University of California and Kristin Stedal from the Oslo University Hospital.

Purpose
The main aim of this Level 1 TBT-S training is to introduce clinicians (e.g., psychologists, social workers, dietitians, and other mental health professionals) to the core principles of TBT-S, including an understanding of the roles of temperament and neurobiological factors in eating disorder symptoms.
Content
The training will cover the foundational theory behind TBT-S, why and how to involve support persons in treatment, and an overview of key TBT-S tools and strategies.
Format
The training will be delivered as a one-day face-to-face introductory workshop.
Outcome
The TBT-S Level 1 training will prepare participants to understand the basic TBT-S framework and is a prerequisite before progressing to Level 2, where application and practical skills are taught.
